China's upward growth and development in the last 15 years has been staggering. URS has grown it's China operations to service both local and foreign clients operating in China. URS has recently acquired Ausin Ausino and this is now wholly owned by URS and has been integrated into our existing China operations click here to read the media release.
Our clients include multinational and foreign companies establishing new or expanding their existing operations in China. URS provides a full range of site selection, environmental, engineering and project/construction management services to those clients. We offer similar services to Government agencies and private sector companies in the areas of public infrastructure including airports, rural and urban development and institutional strengthening. URS has close to 100 staff located in offices in Shanghai and Suzhou, a representative office in Beijing and in project offices in various parts of China. These highly talented staff have a strong knowledge of Chinese regulations, codes and standards and have extensive experience in project development in China. Our China operations are fully supported by our global operations.
